Sound Design Workshops

Theatre III is pleased to offer a Sound Design Workshop with EMACT DASH-winning sound designer Todd Short. This is a hands-on, focused workshop to build skills around running a show. Each session will have 2-3 people to give people the chance to have time with the equipment and software.

Prerequisites

• Familiarity with sound and sound design concepts, or

• Read our Theatrical Sound Design Primer before attending this workshop.

Cost: Free
(If you are able, donations to Theatre III gratefully accepted)

All five sessions will feature the same content:

• Tues 11/12/2024 (7pm-9pm)

• Thu 11/14/2024 (7pm-9pm)

• Sat 11/16/2024  (3:30pm-5:30pm)

• Sat 11/23/2024 (10am-noon)

• Sun 12/1/2024 (7pm-9pm)

• Programming the X32 sound board

• All about sound effects

• Programming Show Cue System

• Microphones
