Stage Management Workshop
Theatre III is pleased to repeat the previously-sold-out Stage Management Workshop with EMACT-recognized stage manager Alison Walters-Short. This workshop will include hands-on activities, interactive discussions, and a solid overview of the fundamentals of community theatre stage management.

Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 10am-5pm with a break for lunch. (Ending time approximate.)

Prerequisites
At least a passing familiarity with a theater rehearsal process (could be your own, or your kid's or spouse's, etc.)
An interest in Stage Management
Whether you are an experienced theater person looking to branch into a new area, or someone who wants to transfer skills gained elsewhere (project manager? household manager?), this will give you the foundations to explore community theatre stage management!
Topics include:
General SM responsibilties & skills
Communication, facilitation, and giving feedback
Audition & rehearsal process, including blocking notes and creating rehearsal reports
Tech & performances, including creating a cuing script and running tech rehearsals
Cost: Free
