Steel Magnolias

by Robert Harling

directed by Janet Tyndall

produced by Pam Furnace

stage managed by G.P. Redmond

The action is set at Truvy's beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana where all the ladies who are "anybody" meet to gossip and support each other through life's good times and bad.  These six women exemplify acerbic southern humor, wisecracking comments, eccentricity, hope, and affection.  When one of the women, M'Lynn, loses her daughter Shelby, the women band together in uncompromising strength and courage.  This play is funny, warm, and sharp witted.
